- Excessive Sweating Treatment
Excessive sweating also known as hyperhidrosis can be a very annoying and embarrassing problem. The common areas for excessive sweating are under the arms, on hands and even on the feet.

What is excessive sweating treatment and how does it work?
Normal perspiration occurs from sweat glands located in the skin. We sweat to regulate our body temperature by releasing water, sodium and other substances. If the sweat glands are overactive, then perspiration or sweating occurs even when it is not needed and in excess.
At DRV Skin botulinum toxin (botox) is injected into areas of excessive sweating to turn off impulses from the brain contributing to overactivation of the sweat glands. As a result, this then reduces the amount of sweating or perspiration.
